Ford IDS Installation:

1. Install Ford IDS-1**
2. Wait for the installation of Ford IDS – 1**, and restart the computer
3. Install the Ford original VCI software_ 1.0.0.10.exe
4. Install VX manager and IDS driver on VX manager "Diagnostic" Menu
5. Wait for VX manager and IDS driver installation to complete
6. Connect VCX device and install idspatch
7. Use idspatch to open IDs and start diagnosis.

Mazda IDS Installation:

1. Install mazdaids-1**
2. Wait for mazdaids – 1** installation to complete and restart the computer
3. Install VX manager and IDS driver on VX manager "Diagnostic" Menu
4. Wait for VX manager and IDS driver installation to complete
5. Connect VCX device and install idspatch
6. Use idspatch to open IDs and start diagnosis.

Requirement on computer:
Operating system: Windows 7 pro, Windows 8 pro, Windows 10 pro, 32bit and 64bit
1. Computer has at least 8GB Memory
2. Computer need produced after 2000 year, too old computer can not run the software.
3. Make sure there is no other Software installed on the computer, Ford IDS and Mazda IDS need to install on separate windows systems.
4. Only firmware update with vx manager but not VCI Ford manager. Wrong firmware update will kill the vxdiag device

• Recieved item in the UK 6 days after inital order, so not bad
• To start with the software installation can be a little problematic to the point I Installed upto V96 only, however as I am using on an 2006 Fiesta it more than adiqute for my needs.
• I purchased the device because I needed to program an ebay purchased key to the vehicle PATS system as I only had one key when I brought the car and really wanted a spare in case of loss or damage
• The device was able to delete all old keys from the system then and add 2 new keys, whilst I was there I did some software updates on the PCM
• Honestly it really is a good device and works perfectly once you get over the software issue.
• A bit of advise with the software is use virtual machine (its easyier to delete and start again), and follow video guides found on youtube

Here is a quick guide for my success:

• Use Virtual machine installer found on CD V100, install VM then create a VM
• Then on the virtual machine
• Install calibration from V81 CD
• Install V91 from V100 CD and reboot without opening software
• Once rebooted open software and agree to 3 day licence, enter any details
• Close software and Install V96 and reboot without opening
• Once rebooted you can open software
• Install software on CD V100 for the VX device
• At this point I just installed deep freeze found on cd V100
• Record and play back live data for ABS, PCM…tested ok
  Program and Install new ECUs (PCM, ABS)…tested ok
  Read and Clear DTCs…tested ok
  Program New Keys for Mazda 6…tested ok
  Set, adjust or remove speed governors…tested ok
  DPF Regeneration…tested ok
  Automatic vehicle recognition…tested ok
  All other dealer functions…tested ok
  Reset steering angle…tested ok
  Find guided fault…tested ok
  Injector Coding…tested ok

Note:
Does not support old Ford with UBP protocol.
Does not support Ford F-series pre-2010 light-duty and super duty. Our engineer is now trying to solve this problem.
